Spring in Michigan brings a wonderful sound around any pond or wetland – Peepers.  Tiny frogs who have come out of hibernation and sing for a few weeks.  I find it amazing that they can live after being in the frozen ground for months.  It makes me wonder that so many creatures have each found a way to live through the cold months of winter.  The Peepers’ song is a welcome call of spring.  What would you share about the frogs where you live?

Frogs can be found almost every where except Antarctica.  Here is an amazing short video about North American Wood Frogs and how they prepare to freeze as soon as they touch an ice crystal.  You can see the frog come back to life!
