About the Author

After attending a Nature Circle 2 years ago I started intentionally talking with friends about nature.  The Nature Circle conversations opened my eyes to new ways of seeing the world and noticing some of the ways I was cutting my connection with the earth short.

Simple observations and stories we’d share would spark a new way to look at the world… or a memory of something I had completely forgotten. I was born in Puerto Rico where I enjoyed the sun and ocean and tropical forests of that beautiful land.  I was remembering those little tadpoles and the pointy grass in that one yard… and so many other wonderful experiences of the Earth from different times in my life.

When Hooked On Nature asked me if I wanted to write this blog, I thought it would be a great way to continue that conversation.  I didn’t expect the degree to which it would have an effect on my relationship with noticing and connecting to the natural world around me.  I feel thankful for the chance to write here and I love reading what others share.  Each person’s comments are unique.   I hope the stories and comments here trigger fresh perspective and new relationships to the earth and all the creatures that inhabit it.  May you fall in love with the earth more deeply each day.

I would like to thank Avery Cleary and Sara Thurston for their help and support in the creation and design of building these 52 posts.

Thank you very much William. I appreciate your message. 🙂

It has been so nice to connect with people about nature and just pay attention to what is around me with an eye to remembering so I can post about it. I’m happy you are enjoying it.

I wish you a happy fall.

… and see you around the internet.
